Has anyone else watched this documentary? It was first available yesterday. It shows how things really went down, which was worse than portrayed in public. He was a clown then and still a clown.

I watched it last night. Sad story. Seems Johnny had his demons even before aTm. After the Heisman, just went completely off the rails. I get the sense he's not much better now even after football.

I watched it, I thought it was wildly entertaining. What a player, what magic on the field. He is totally a sh*t off the field and I don't even want to hear about "mental health" and "addiction" of which he struggles with both.....you can still be a sh*t and he proves it in spades.

I thought it was well done, and accurately described his undoing. He apparently didn’t want to put in the work necessary to succeed at a level where natural talent doesn’t overcome all. It must be extremely difficult when what you’ve done so effortlessly doesn’t work anymore. At that point one can fix it or run away. He chose to run away.

Johnny just loved the big time fun life, and I can’t fault anyone for that. The great conundrum is that one can’t have that without fame and money. No one shouldn’t take anyone’s money unless you’re going to successfully perform, or at least give your best effort to perform the work they pay you for. Johnny ignored that part of the equation. Also fame and good times at the highest levels don’t associate for long with poor quarterback play.

In the end he was just like a shooting star briefly crossing and illuminating the sky. Sad but he’s solely responsible for his demise.

Yup. Stunned when he was drafted but par for the course for Cleveland.
