…..and none will be easy. Would you take 4-3 right now? That would put us at 12-6 in the conference, and probably a top 4 seed in the Conference tournament.

@Florida…loss
Georgia…win
@Auburn…50-50
@South Carolina…win
Vandy….win
@Texas A&M…50-50
Florida…50-50

Yep I'd take 4-3 and be happy with it. I think we could win one or two I don't see but could also lose one or two I don't see.

Pretty logical results. Maybe A&M is getting exposed now that they’re playing tougher teams. So, I give us a fighting chance there.

I think 4-3 is very realistic. I could see anywhere from 6-1 to 3-4. But after starting 0-2 in the SEC, to end up 12-6, 21-10 would be a heck of an accomplishment. Not a lot of folks at all expected that after losing Kam

That would be 12-4 in the last 16 games. That used to be my formula for winning the old SEC. Win your 8 home games and half your road games. ;)

Yep, I can see the same thing.could go anywhere from 2-5 to 6-1
Here's the interesting thing about that...If we go 6-1 (23-8), we will win the SEC Regular Season Championship, be ranked in the top 10, and Mark Pope will win the SEC Coach of the Year award. And....we will still have fools on here calling for his head and saying "If" he gets a third year lol

Unless things take a sharp turn 4-3 looks to be around the floor in that series. So personally I wouldn't want to lock it in, and give up my chance of doing better, just to avoid a worse outcome.

I suspect 3-4 is the very worst we could possibly do in that stretch. I'm not giving up my chances for a better outcome only to wind up one game better than the very worst we could possibly do. (Sure, technically we could do worse than 3-4, but nothing about the way this team has handled adversity suggests that's realistic.)

OMG….why not make it 7-0 and he is national coach of the year. Most likely we go 3-4 and the jury is still out.

2-5 is the expected record according to kenpom (My % chance to win)

@Florida…loss (10%)
Georgia…win (75%)
@Auburn…loss (45%)
@South Carolina…win (65%)
Vandy….loss (40%)
@Texas A&M….loss (40%)
Florida…loss (35%)

Should beat Georgia at home that is really a must win because the rest are brutal.

How many good Kentucky teams have lost to a bad South Carolina team ?

2010 (lost 68-62 when ranked #1)
2014 (lost 72-67 when ranked #17) this is the #8 seed finals team after the loss Harrison said "we know what we can do it will be a great story)
2018 (lost 76-68 when ranked #18)
2020 (lost 81-78 when ranked #10)
2024 (lost 79-62 when ranked #6)

So I have no real confidence that we will easily win this South Carolina not sure we can win it at all based on past results.
Look at all the ranked teams that went down at South Carolina
Kentucky is 5-5 in their last 10 at South Carolina since 2010.
Kentucky was ranked in the top 25 in every contest this year likely will be unranked going into that game.

Hell I thought we might not finish 500 in SEC after those clunkers.
4-3 would be out of this world.
No doubt. At one point this season, I had doubts we would finish with a winning record.

I would absolutely take 4-3 and be static for 5-2.

I think that is totally possible. I think we could steal the TAMU game too. Regardless we must beat Florida once. Protect home court.

I’m sorry, maybe I’m missing something but Auburn is a loss?

This team gives me no indication they’re capable of being consistent enough to finish over 500 with that remaining schedule. I say they finish 3-4 with 4-3 being the best we can hope for

I think we go 4-3 down the stretch, 5-2 is doable, but so is 3-4 unfortunately.

But I think we win:

Home vs. UGA
Home vs. Vandy
@ South Carolina

Think we lose:
@ Florida
@A&M

The 2 toss-ups which will determine either 5-2 or 3-4 will be:
Home vs. Florida
@ Auburn

It’s a big ask for Florida, but win the home games. Beat South Carolina and Georgia. That is 5-2. We have a chance to beat Auburn as well. I think we could drop both to Florida but still get 5 wins if we play like we have been. I think 4 is almost a given, but I won’t get cocky with this team looks
