Those two games are the ones that really hurt losing. Win those and the whole complexion is different. The missouri loss is the b*tch of all losses in conference. (id love to have the UNC game back too).

Kind of where I’m at as well. Feel like we drop both Florida games, @Auburn, and @A&M. But to be fair, feel like the only probable loss is @Florida. Others are very winnable. My heart says 5-2, my brain says 3-4. I want to be convinced we’ve turned a corner. But I’ve seen some really good UK teams lose SEC road games we should have won.
Would you rather lose them all? Conference isn't a slouch and we're held together with duct tape. This is Kentucky. I would not take 4-3 if offered.
It's hard to imagine, just merely from an odd perspective, that these two scenarios wouldn't be the most likely. But man, predicting this team is crazy difficult. Lol4-3 or 3-4.
So 10 or 11 losses heading into postseason.
my thoughts exactlyWhen you think about all the injuries and adversity of this team, it is mind blowing the position we are in. 4-3 is the most likely outcome, but I don’t think I’d agree to it if offered. Let it play out and maybe you go 5-2…maybe not, but a man can dream![]()
I think we can go 5-2 .... maybe even 6-1 as crazy as it sounds. We are capable to beat every team left on the schedule.I’m going to say 5-2.
No, I'd rather take a shot at winning the SEC. We're .5 game out. 4-3 doesn't win crap.Would you rather lose them all? Conference isn't a slouch and we're held together with duct tape.
I think it’s one of those two.4-3 or 3-4.
So 10 or 11 losses heading into postseason.
That's fair. But it's going to be tough. No, I'd rather take a shot at winning the SEC. We're .5 game out. 4-3 doesn't win crap.
Yep, but have to beat them in Rupp. Crowd will be insane,Florida is the team I’m worried about. They are playing really good right now
I think Auburn could be a win. I have that game as 50-50, only, because it’s on the road.I’m sorry, maybe I’m missing something but Auburn is a loss?
This is pretty reasonable. However, the two variables are so unpredictable. 1. Which Kentucky team shows up that particular game. 2. What kind of whistle in each game we get. These two variables are impossible to know.I think we go 4-3 down the stretch, 5-2 is doable, but so is 3-4 unfortunately.
But I think we win:
Home vs. UGA
Home vs. Vandy
@ South Carolina
Think we lose:
@ Florida
@A&M
The 2 toss-ups which will determine either 5-2 or 3-4 will be:
Home vs. Florida
@ Auburn
I would. Kentucky hasn’t been Kentucky in a few years. SEC is a thousand times tougher than it was thru the Calipari years here. Not to mention, the insane amoun’t of injuries we‘re dealing with. With this remaining 7 games, there’s zero automatic wins like there use to be in conference play. This is Kentucky. I would not take 4-3 if offered.
Agree, but let’s not forget the miracle win against LSU, and the improbable comeback win against Tennessee. The missouri loss is the b*tch of all losses in conference. (id love to have the UNC game back too).
5-2 is possible, but only if we win the 3 remaining games at Rupp, which includes a tough Georgia team, Vandy, who kicked our asses a couple of weeks ago, and Florida, who is playing better than any team right now.I don't understand why everyone is so afraid of Florida. Okay, they blew aTm out, well, that happens, but honestly, I think we match up well with Florida. Their guards aren’t elite and our guys have been shutting down guards that are better than Fland and Lee.
Yes, their front court is legit and deep, but our front court isn’t garbage. We have dudes too.
Also, the metrics show we are expected to lose in Rupp to Vandy??? Okay, same Vandy team that just lost at home to Oklahoma and were down 20 at one point?
Our guys are going to be motivated for that one, we ain't losing that game.
If we can win at UT and at Arkansas, we can win at Auburn and maybe at Florida.
I'm going with 5-2. But, it does bother me that we have a full week off before the Florida game, that's too long and I feel like we lose momentum whenever we don't have a mid week game. Camp Cal was the worst, it was like we forgot how to play basketball during fake Camp Cal.
Yeah, I wouldn't put too much stock in what happened at Vanderbilt. Our guys were noticably out of sorts, they are a completely different team right now. Also, they just lost to the worst team in the league last Saturday, at home.5-2 is possible, but only if we win the 3 remaining games at Rupp, which includes a tough Georgia team, Vandy, who kicked our asses a couple of weeks ago, and Florida, who is playing better than any team right now.
Which is typical for a Mark Pope coached team, and the new normal for Kentucky basketball. So 10 or 11 losses heading into postseason.
