What is going on with this OL recruiting blitzkrieg?

is it just that the recruiting sites are just now interviewing these guys? or is our staff FINALLY trying to find a few OLs for this class?

by the way since we are not in on many blue chip OLs, I like that we are going for tall, athletic, "underweight" guys. That way we can potentially beef them up with that "good weight" jargon in 2-3 years.

This seems in direct opposition to our previous theory on low-rated lineman, which was to bring in a slow fatass in the hopes you can decrease his fatassedness and hope that athleticism will magically appear (not too mention, good pad level).

P.S. anyone know where i can learn to improve my sentence structure?

Isn't he about the same size as Randy Thomas was? What I'd give for another RT.

I mostly noticed that he doesn't stop until he finds SOMEBODY to hit. Dude looks mean. BDJ says the coaches want him to add about 20 lbs, which would be no problem for Balis.

I can't find a legit weight on him. I see anything from 230 to 265. It looks like he has a good frame on him - so he could put on a ton of weight if he does it right. That dude looks like a maniac in the video. Why isn't he getting any decent offers? We need OL recruits very badly. Is this the Dylan Favre of o-lineman?

he is up to 272, and his grades are the issue, but I think that is looking good. Said to have a mean *** attitude, but I prefer that in a lineman. I hope Paul doesn't mind me posting this.

Join BDJ!! Well worth it.

He dominates everyone he lines up against. Watch the two plays that start ~1:00 mark. He lays some nice blocks.

For too many years, we've had "wonderful recruiting classes" full of 5' 11", 170 lb. "athletes". I'd like to see us sign 4 or 5 offensive linemen EVERY year. Even if they suck, or are undersized, if you have 15 or 20 of them working together, fighting for playing time, you'll get a great offensive line.

Jackie Sherrill won in the 1990's with bad QB's, mediocre running backs and average (except Eric Moulds) receivers, because he had dominating offensive lines.
