5 point win over a bad Michigan team and 18 yards of offense in the second halfTBH, I thought Indiana would jump us.
I was talking to a player yesterdaySo, for those who are quick with the playoff match upside, who are we projected to host in Round 1? Looks to me like an SEC team. I would absolutely love to see them boys come up here in December!

and he does not like the timing of the playoff 1st round... weekend after finals. He said we (the players) have to choose between passing and winning.
PSU’s ceiling is gonna be likely as the 7 seed. They won’t go to conference champ game. 5 & 6 seeds likely go to Big Ten & SEC runners-up.So, for those who are quick with the playoff match upside, who are we projected to host in Round 1? And their schedule is really soft. Next week is their first game against a ranked opponent.5 point win over a bad Michigan team and 18 yards of offense in the second half
They’ve been making concessions for players since scholarships started way back. This isn’t directed at you, just my frustration for giving people who can run fast or throw a ball special treatment. They can study and practice all at the same time. All the while cashing NIL checks. It’s a good real life lesson. Multitasking. Sorry for the rant.Do they ever make concessions for the players by moving the dates up or back?
Some may, but he did not seem to be expecting concessions. He is a walk-on, so he came to play school.Do they ever make concessions for the players by moving the dates up or back?
Good for him. Much respect. Far tougher for him than the others. Some may, but he did not seem to be expecting concessions. He is a walk-on, so he came to play school.

Here’s how I would seed Tuesday night with current conference leaders as bye holders or with *.
1 Oregon*
2 Tennessee*
3 BYU*
4 Boise*
5 Ohio St
6 Texas
7 Georgia
8 Indiana
9 Penn St
10 Alabama
11 Notre Dame
12 SMU*
But of course, it’s dumb to do bracketology now cuz there’s far too much time left. It does show that even with 12 teams, it’s still a tight window.
I think you are correct. I have heard the XM guys say they will most likely be 12.Correct me if I'm wrong but Boise St can't be inside the Top 4. That's reserved for the Big 4 Conference Champions.
They can if they finish ranked higher than ACC or XII champ which is doubtful. Most likely the seed at 12.I think you are correct. I have heard the XM guys say they will most likely be 12.
Based on AP, first round would be OSU v Boise, PSU v Mississippi, Indy v Bama, and Tennessee v ND. First listed would host games.
Yes, let’s play in Happy Valley this time. Whiteout conditions in PA December weather. Whaddya say, Lane?I wouldn't mind a rematch with a full squad this time. I know this will change but revenge is best served cold!
They can get a top 4 if they’re higher rated than one of those conference champions. Unlikely, but possible.Correct me if I'm wrong but Boise St can't be inside the Top 4. That's reserved for the Big 4 Conference Champions.

Bottom line James Madison players vs. NIL (OSU) will show up. If UM had a decent qb they probablyAnd their schedule is really soft. Next week is their first game against a ranked opponent.
Absolutely, Michigan was the first game that was a challenge to Indiana and they survived…barely.Bottom line James Madison players vs. NIL (OSU) will show up. If UM had a decent qb they probably
would have won yesterday.
Did the player you were talking to actually come to play school?I was talking to a player yesterday

My guess is yes. My guess is also that nearly all players take a light class load in the fall.Do they ever make concessions for the players by moving the dates up or back?

Who among us would NOT have taken an extra year to remain in college.I was talking to a player yesterday

I think so. He seemed much more worried about his grades than the playbook. He was having some fun too. Just standard college kid stuff.Did the player you were talking to actually come to play school?

IMO, it’s only “might” because it’s UGA and an SEC school. This thread looked like the best place to post this. This Saturday has a massive game for playoff implications.
7-1 Tennessee v 6-2 Georgia
If Georgia loses, they might be on the outside looking in.
The fact that they would have played 4 top 10 schools would have a little something to do with it. Their schedule is insane, especially when you add the non-conference game against Clemson.IMO, it’s only “might” because it’s UGA and an SEC school.
I stand corrected. I’ll admit, I did not look at their schedule. The fact that they would have played 4 top 10 schools would have a little something to do with it. Their schedule is insane, especially when you the non-conference game against Clemson.
I really hope that the schedule strength plays a big role...is beating up on this year's ACC/Big 12 and coming out with 2 losses better than a team like Georgia that could have wins over a top 5 and a top 15ish team, and then losses to 3 top 10 teams? I know which team I'd rather avoid in a playoff game (and thus who might be the more deserving team).I stand corrected. I’ll admit, I did not look at their schedule.
Thanks.
