He appears to be connected to EJ Sandusky. Not that EJ has anything to do with his father. He coached under EJ at Albright and they have a Western Carolina connection.

Thanks for posting. Regardless, I stand by my post. Anybody that has an issue with BOB leaving, that’s on them. He said at his introductory news conference that the NFL was the pinnacle of the profession. Anybody that couldn’t read between the lines there was kidding themselves. He and Franklin had winning records during the lowest part of the program’s history and they get more sh*t from our fanbase than is reasonable.

Fitzgerald is more than likely done as a college coach unless something drastic changes in the next 12 months. Either he knew about it and condoned it, in which case he never needs to be around anyone under the age of 21 every again. Or he didn't know about it, which means he didn't know what was going on in his own program.

With that being said, he's still a good football coach and shouldn't be blackballed completely. If he's willing, he'd probably be a good NFL coach.

Did your parents know about all the crap you likely pulled as a teenager/19-20 year old?

I think the position that “You should have known” is such a copout
