I don't think it really matters where Bartlett goes. If Woods wants to come, he will be welcomed. For example Dean and Beards. No free ride at PSU. You earn your spot.
Man, being a mediocre high school wrestler in PA makes me really relate to the Rutgers guy there. I've been there wrestling guys way out of my league and clearly several steps behind. I can even see the thought process there "Oh man this guy is real fast let me try and tie up real quick and slow him down...and that's a takedown." Except that guy from Rutgers won States in NJ. The way our guys can make really really good wrestlers look average will never stop impressing me.
It took me a second to understand her name. She has an impressive resume for sure.
It took me a minute to understand Chadron State. I thought it said Clarion State…
lol. yeah, I was wondering about that myself. It would help to have context, in terms of where they are in the match when this took place. If it's the start of the 1st period, I'd tolerate it for a bit. If the wrestler continued that practice, I'd be verbally encouraging him to stay in the center, as well as saying "action." If those guidelines didn't cause him to change his tactics, he probably wouldn't get out of the 1st period without 1 stall call, and perhaps a 2nd, and I'm certainly not the most aggressive ref in calling stalling.
I need to work on my verbal skills. I remember as a wrestler liking refs that would verbalize. Thanks for improving me today Tom!
