Based on the size of the Liberal Arts building being constructed near the old Business Building I think there's merit to saying that. Who wouldn't jump at the chance to study Liberal Arts at PSU given the tuition?
Take heart. The new Engineering Collaborative Research and Education (ECoRE) Building building is 290,000 sq. feet.

The Susan Welch Liberal Arts Building is ONLY 143,000 sq. feet and crammed in next to the beautiful Ford Building. What an eyesore.

But the end result of the new engineering buildings will Hammond Building finally being demolished along College Ave whereas the new Liberal Arts building will come at the cost of Oswald Building being demolished.

“If you build it, they will come, and pay.”
