Would Penn State benefit if the PSU Board would establish accountable performance goals for the President?

No one for decades.Who holds the bot accountable?
Along with that comes the incentive to fudge numbers to achieve benchmarks. It happens a lot and in the end, everyone looks like a jerkoff. Setting REALISTIC goals is fine. If someone can't reach them, find someone who can.
I think the BOT would serve better when not using Judy from Fakebook as a source when stating what they think are facts then not admitting their mistake.
Whaaaaaaat? #4 Michigan, #11 Ohio State, #19 Maryland ... #28 Penn State. And we just keep dropping.
Just to fill in other Big Ten schools, UDub is #5,, UCLA #6, Wisconsin #8, Minnehaha #20, USC #27. Northwestern is just behind PSU at #29 and if both schools continue their same growth trends, NU will surpass PSU shortly.

Based on the size of the Liberal Arts building being constructed near the old Business Building I think there's merit to saying that. Who wouldn't jump at the chance to study Liberal Arts at PSU given the tuition?

The Susan Welch Liberal Arts Building is ONLY 143,000 sq. feet and crammed in next to the beautiful Ford Building. What an eyesore.
But the end result of the new engineering buildings will Hammond Building finally being demolished along College Ave whereas the new Liberal Arts building will come at the cost of Oswald Building being demolished.
