It is a very relevant analogy. Most WW2 soldiers were in their late teens to maybe 22 with officers in their mid to late 20s. The average age of a soldier in Vietnam was 19. Alexander the Great was in his early 20s when he became king and started defeating other empires. Napoleon was 24 at the Siege of Toulon where he commanded the French troops.

If 18-21 year olds are not mentally capable of complex thought, they should not be allowed to vote or sign legally binding contracts.
What legally binding contract has he signed that he is violating?

I would allow him back, but I think it would be hard to welcome him back enthusiastically…for this is not the place he wants to be. We have a tough schedule again. Is he going to play in all games…if not injured? Is he going to be “all in.”
