Everton made me very sad today, but man, watching these Sixers, it's hard not to think they may seriously make a run at this. 120 points again tonight. Miami was a back-to-back and a travel game, so not gonna overthink that one.

Joel with 40+ again. This is really fun to watch guys. Loving it.

Harden was also rested against Miami, no? That’s pretty big.

Always wondered who this guy was and why he had so much access. Harden doesn’t seem to GAF!

Interesting and a non-issue. Though as a west coast fan who doesn’t see them on TV often, WTF???

Rich or not, the optics on that are bad.

Ben Simmons deserves a huge round of applause when he returns to Philly.

If he doesn't refuse to play this season, it's possible that the Sixers don't end up with Harden. Thank you Ben!

I concur. But if I were at the game, I doubt that I would applaud him.

we posted it at the same time, but yours got in 1st, so I deleted my post.

That has to leave a mark (well, we're dealing with Ben here, so who knows).

FWIW, I believe it was @DidTheSixersWin that put the tribute video together, though I'm not certain of that

Horrible first quarter for the Sixers. Besides Joel you have nothing. Harden looks lost and hunting for fouls. Next leading scorer is Maxey with 4. Could be a long night.

Sidenote, their first quarter D has been bad for a couple weeks now.

Pretty much. Kyrie was hot, and KD did well right off the whistle. The Beard has been off with his jump shot, and his drives to the basket haven't been all that productive. Plus, the Nets have gotten a lot of points from secondary players.

Sidenote, their first quarter D has been bad for a couple weeks now.

That has been a concern, though their 2nd half performances during that interval have been excellent. I hope they don't continue that pattern into the playoffs.

Sixers getting smoked. They don’t look like they were ready for this in so many ways. D looks horrible (that Niag help off curry for a wide open 3 just one example), Harden a non factor, the whole team is shooting poorly, and most concerning is that Maxey looks like he’s happy to come down and hand the ball to Harden and stay out of the way like this game is too big for him. He’s deferred all game long.

I think I’m gonna step away for the second half so I don’t “move any furniture” like Shaq would say.

I gotta find something to laugh at from last night…Blake Griffen thankfully gave me something. “it’s actually pretty catchy!”

Sixers win in OT against the Orlando Magic, 116-114.
What an ugly game for the Sixers. I’ll take the win but they always struggle in Orlando for some reason. Their D still looked bad in the beginning and now their offense seems to be turning into iso ball. Very little pick and roll or even just picks to find mismatches.

I think they lose to the Nuggets tomorrow night. Hope I’m wrong but I feel like Joel is going to try to do too much against the Joker to prove a point and it’s gonna throw off an already stagnant offense.

Ughhh…what a loss. Sixers bench gets smoked 48-14. Last 90 seconds was a mess. Harden passes on a wide open layup to throw to Joel under the basket for a missed shot, Jokic throws up a ridiculous running prayer that goes in, harden throws a cross court pass for a turnover, they actually have a chance after a missed free throw and inexplicably Glen Rivers doesn’t call a TO (must have wanted to save it for the next game) and they go full court for a rushed shot by someone who was ice cold all game. THEN Niag happens to get his own rebound and puts up a 5 foot 2 pointer DOWN 3 with 4 seconds left rather than kick it back out for a tying basket.

Sixers top the Cavs, 118-114. They were cruising at the half, up 72-59. I switched channels and missed most of the 2nd half. Alas, the Cavs came to life in the 3rd qtr. and outscored the Sixers 31-13. (That must have been ugly.) The Sixers recovered and outscored the Cavs 33-24 in the 4th qtr. Tobias fouled out with 8.6 (I think that's what it was) sec left, when a foul was the last thing you should do (unless you prevented the shooter from getting off a shot).
