No Harden & No Embiid for the Sixers tonight vs the Heat. Looks like I’ve got the night off from watching them. I need a rest day as well!

@jmorovich -- after the Raptors disaster, you would have enjoyed the game. Maxey was all-world, Shake had a great game, and Furkman had a good game. Heck Tobias had a nice game. The 4th quarter was quite enjoyable.

Clap your hands, everybody ... 113-106, Sixers

@Tom McAndrew So it looks like I’M the problem!! Maybe I should do what’s right and stay away for the rest of the season.

I got video of all the people on this board when I say I’m excited to watch a big Sixers game!

Joel looking great tonight, but he finished that first half holding his back again. Hoping he's alright.

he seemed fine in the 3rd quarter. The Beard banged his knee on a play near the end of the 3rd quarter. Without LeBron, I thought this would be an easy game for the Sixers. I think they were up by 14 at the half, but their lead is down to 2 at the beginning of the 3rd quarter.

Yeah, that game was similar to a few nights ago but vice versa. They got the W though. That's all that matter. Malik Monk impressed. I didn't realize how good he was playing for the Lakers this year.

Yeah he’s been really good. Lebron will view that as trade equity over the summer and will force the Lakers to trade him and 3 of their first round picks in 2031, 2032, and 2033 for Udonis Haslem.

I’m not pushing the panic button when it comes to James and big games but…my finger is getting close to the button.

I tried to help everyone out and not watch the game but it looks like that didn’t help so my streak is broken.

That being said, is this a loss that is actually a win? The team played well from what I read, Harden was really good against a good team, and the only issue was D in the 4th and again the stupid review challenge jump ball rule. But…they slipped to 4th in the standings which looks like a good thing. The Sixers arent world beaters at home this year so I’m not sure their seeding after the first round matters. I’m never one to want to move to avoid teams but I don’t really want to play the nets in round 1 (unless that gets Glen Rivers fired #FreeBBallPaul). That means the Sixers need to stay away from the 1 & 2 seed. The 3 seed is interesting because if the Celtics fall here and the raptors stay at 6, there is this little tidbit the media is mostly ignoring:

It will be interesting to see if the Celtics start lining up games to find a way to avoid trips to Toronto. That being said, I like a 4/5 matchup with Chicago (not the Raptors as much if they jump Chicago). Still some games left but I think we start seeing teams jockey for positioning in the next couple of games.

Just one question after that loss…if you are the Sixers do you hand Jim Harden $250 million for the next 5 years?

I wish we had a better understanding as to whether his struggles are due to his hamstring issues, or if that's fine and his issues are a bigger concern.
