Good news?? Iggles fans. Both Denver starting OT out v Eagles. IDK if that’s good news or not as the back ups could be better. Derrick Barnett might get a contract extension!!!
Otoh Denver could win the NFC East!!


he Broncos’ bid for a sweep of the NFC East will take place without their starting offensive tackles.

Left tackle Garett Bolles and right tackle Bobby Massie have both been ruled out due to ankle injuries. Calvin Anderson started in place of Bolles against Dallas last weekend and Cameron Fleming came into the game when Massie went down.

with a RB IMO you don't extend them, unless its on the teams terms. You could possibaly tag him, or let him walk and have him bring back his best deal and match it if you want.

When teams bracket Hurts and limit his scrambles, he’s very pedestrian. Lamar is the blueprint there. The big difference is that the Eagles are definitely not all in on Hurts.

They are likely to go after a starting QB in the off-season and go from there.

I can’t access that article, but will say that Howie has been pretty good with non-draft parts of the roster. That may be his background in contracts and cap management.

Yeah. I laid out the case earlier that even Howie can't mess up top 12-ish picks. Beyond 12, not so confident. Just trade it away if it's 20-32, where he has been terrible.

I expect Howie to trade away at least one of those picks for a 2023 package. They need a QB and this isn’t the year nor do they have a high enough pick for one.

It’s better to try and parlay one pick in maybe a 1st and 3rd next year. If you get really lucky, then your trade partner goes “Houston” and stinks and you wind up with a top 5 pick.

That easy 5 game stretch didn’t last long. They already lost to an awful Giants team. I think a split with Washington is the most they get too. It looks like 8-9 to me unless Dallas sits its team in the finale.

Washington suffered several more injuries today and will visit Philly beat up. Eagles will win…..then the giants visit and the giants will lose. Then we visit Washington with a good chance to grab a win.Final game will be the Cowboys visiting Philly already have won the east. Cowboys will substitute liberally and the Eagles steal one. So….in a year that everyone felt was a rebuild….the Birds fool everyone and grab a wild card. First year young coach sneaks into the wild card and start next season having 3 first round picks ! The future for the Eagles is not looking too bad IMO
