<gurgling noises> So gd disappointed.
It may be the most disappointing collapse by any Penn State team, in any sport, in my memory. Of course, I'm old and can't remember much past yesterday, but can anyone recall a bigger debacle?

The end of the 1999 football season?

I don’t know if I have the mental energy to even watch the game tonight. We suck on the road and what is worse is that the shooting last game was also horrendous. Teams know how to take Pickett out and we have no real response. Relying on the 3’s is our Damocles sword.

Posted at 5:30 am EST ... me thinks you're more concerned as to whether you can stay awake for a game that doesn't start until 9 pm EST. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Minus winning 3 games in The B1G Tourney, this game is a must for our NCAA Dreams. Gotta play 2 halves like our season depends on it, cuz it does.

Northwestern playing for a 5 seed in the Big Dance on Senior Nite at home… they win by 12

We’re playing like we always do on the road. Northwestern’s defense is taking away our 3 point offense and therein lies our demise.

Awesome response after the Rutgers 2nd Half! Beat Maryland and win at least 1 in The B1G and I like our chances.

Good lord. I felt like such a fool for tuning in again, with some hope, after last game's debacle. And then there were stretches where my doubt was reaffirmed. But they kept coming back. And then letting me down. And when OT started off on a down note, I was so pissed, because I knew they were headed to an "OT blowout." And here they are, with a last second victory to keep me invested.

How will they let me down next game? And why am I still going to watch it, with some hope, but waiting for the ax to fall, until they're up 30 with 10 seconds left? And even when they're up 30 with 10 seconds left, it leaves my mind racing with "is it possible to blow a 30 point lead in 10 seconds" thoughts.

It may take two. But, what could have been had they not blown the lead against Rutgers.
You shut right the hell up. The first rule of PSU basketball is never talk about the Feb 26, 2023 Rutgers game. Finkle is Lundy. Lundy is Finkle.

Happy to see the win. Question as I did not watch.
Score of OT was 7-4. Did both teams slow the game down, or was it a brick and mortar session?

Fantastic to be able to pull off a huge road win despite your top scorer only having 7 for the game.

Much differerent 2nd half than the Rutgers game

Fierce defense in OT (I just now caught the replay on BTN), a lot of missed shots from in close for both teams. Typical overtime game for evenly matched teams.

Other than PSU holding for the final shot (though technically, NW had the final shot as they inbound the ball with 0.7 sec left), neither team seemed to slow things down in OT. Both teams missed shots, PSU played good D and rebounded, etc.

The dominoes continue to fall in our direction. Of course, it's all meaningless if we don't beat Maryland on Sunday.
