Poetic justice -- sort of. First, a mistake vs Cassioppi at the B1G's gives away enough points to cost PSU a league team title; two weeks later his consy victory, apparently fighting thru injury, allows PSU to wrap up the National Title going into the championship round.

Without a Gable Steveson to contend with, if he can stay healthy, Kerkvliet obviously figures to be well into the hunt for both B1G and national titles next year.

If he was hurt, it didn't show. He has opened the gap on Parris.

Wrestling guy whose last name is Wood opens up a can of worms.
