If the Phillies win tomorrow they should be in the playoffs. If they don’t they don’t deserve it anyway. Wheeler vs Corbin should be a W.
Phils up 8-1 and in a rain delay. Brewers down 2-0 in the 7th to the Marlins.
Help me with the math, if the Brewers lose and Phillies win, then the magic number goes to 1? The Brewer lost the tie breaker so they’d effectively be 3 down with 3 to play?
If marlins win: Phillies would need to be swept and the brewers would have to sweep.
If marlins lose: Phillies need 2 games. Can either be a win or a brewers loss

IMHO, I don't give a rats rear-end who the Phillies play in the playoffs. If I hear the Phillies need to finish 3rd, or, finish 2nd, to play the easiest team, balony! Right now, it's out of their control. Just make the damn playoffs!

That's fair. No way would I ever bet on this team. The good news is that they seem to be scoring runs again after their slump streak. I figure they should be able to power their way to winning 1 of 3 -- preferably the first game!
Any reason for Verlander to go deep in a game at this point? Shouldn't impact CY at this point.
