With Kennedy losing that seals it for us....
We are officially Big Ten Champions with the loss of Kennedy from Iowa!
The freshman Haines is gonna be the next great one.
Well, the appetizer course was pretty good. Now it's time for the main course. Here we go!
Remember when there was a debate about redshirting Haines?
Penn State has clinched the Big Ten team title.
157: Levi Haines vs. Peyton Robb, Nebraska
First period
Good shot by Haines results in a stalemate. Robb in on a great late single that he doesn't convert as they go off the edge but Nebraska challenges. No takedown awarded. So still 0-0 after one.
Second period
Robb down to start second. And he's out in a hurry to 1-0. They wrestle neutral for the rest of the tournament.
Third period
Haines down and out. It's 1-1. And we're off to sudden victory.
Sudden victory
Haines in on a single Robb scrambles out but Haines finishes it and he wins, 3-1.

Caution on CStar right off the whistle for jumping the whistle (justified). Some reaches, but no serious shots thru 1:30. CStar gets in on a leg, ML with a whizzer. CStar elevates it and has ML dancing, and they go OOB and a stall call on ML (correct). (Byers doesn't know the college rule.)CSgtar in on a single late, and just about got it but ML grabbed a leg and. That was close. Nothing awarded. End

ML takes bottom. ML to a 4-point stance, and back down. ML to his feet but they are OOB with 1:27 left. ML to his feet and returned. RT goes over 1 min., and ML gets an esc as they go OOB with 54 sec left, 0-1. RT @ 1:05 for CStar. CStar reaches, nothing, then shoots a double, and gets the TD, 2-1. They are on the edge, and the buzzer sounds. End. RT @ 1:22 for CStar

CStar takes bottom. Caution on ML. CStar to his feet, and ML cuts him, 3-1. Stoppage for locked fingers with 1:36 left. ML with a semi shot and CStar sprawls. CStar in on a leg as they OOB with 56 sec left. CStar with a head outside single, ML reaches over and grabs a leg, and CStar wins the scramble, 5-1. With 1:22 in RT, it's a 6-1 DEC for CStar!

Labriola is down. He's out but not before CS gets 1:05 in RT. CS in on a double and gets two on the edge late in the second. The period ends with CS up 2-1.
Third period
CS down and out to 3-1. CS in on a single and he's working through and gets the takedown. With 1:22 in RT, it's a 6-1 win.
Starocci d. Labriola, 6-1 (Big Ten champ)
First period
CS almost had a late takedown. But, couldn't get there in time.

Um. Yes. Very common if the mats aren’t cleaned properly. I can personally attest to it. So can my son.

AB with an ankle pick and nearly gets the TD but they are OOB (Romero's hand went off the mat.) AB with an ankle pick for a TD, 2-0. OOB with 1:16 left. KR to his feet and AB cuts him, 2-1. KR keeps working the edge. OOB with 29 sec left. AB sort of shot, blocked. Then KR shoots and is blocked. AB with undercooks at the edge. End. RT @ 29 sec for AB

KR takes bottom. No much movement for KR off the whistle, and then he gets flatted. He tries a bit of a roll and gets flattened. Stall call on KR (there was an earlier one in the 1st period) so it's a point for AB, 6-1. KR out just after the stall call, 6-2. OOB with 55 sec. AB shots, blocked. Stall call on KR for a point, 7-2, and a TD for AB, 9-2. RT is locked for AB. OOB, and a stall call for KR which is 2 points, 11-2. End. WIth 3:01 in RT, it's a 12-2 MAJ!!!
