Got soakedHave fun. Be prepared for rain, unfortunately.
Right now, I have SF as a 2.5 pt favorite over the Eagles on a neutral field and give Philly a 2 pt HFA, so that means I have SF as a 0.5 pt fav.@Grant Green , I’m all ears on your thoughts on SF coming to Philly as a 2.5 point favorite.
Chris Long had an interesting take on The Rich Eisen Show. He said the Eagles just went 12 rounds in the rain and now go up against a physical and well rested Niners team. It will be interesting.
Reich indicated that he’s finished in the NFL. I have a strange hope that CJF will contact him sooner rather than later for the OC position.
I did see that, and had similar thoughts.Reich indicated that he’s finished in the NFL. I have a strange hope that CJF will contact him sooner rather than later for the OC position.
does your calculus include the fact the Eagles are always 1st and 9 and that they play on a 55 yd field?Right now, I have SF as a 2.5 pt favorite over the Eagles on a neutral field and give Philly a 2 pt HFA, so that means I have SF as a 0.5 pt fav.
The game opened at Phl -1, so unless that is a look ahead line from last week, it's been heavily to SF (and not by the public). It could be a head fake to get a better line on the Eagles later in the week, but I probably lean more toward Chris Longs angle. We'll see if the line moves back a bit.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no calculus involved in setting a spread. The kinds of things you mention are already baked into the power rating number for any particular team.does your calculus include the fact the Eagles are always 1st and 9 and that they play on a 55 yd field?
I kinda hope not. I admit that I was fooled a few years ago into thinking that Reich may have been a bigger factor than thought in the Eagles super bowl run. I think his time at Indy and Carolina have proven that to be untrue.Reich indicated that he’s finished in the NFL. I have a strange hope that CJF will contact him sooner rather than later for the OC position.
As HFCWFT? Hell no.On a side note, would you take Belichik as your head coach if he departs NE? I've heard this thrown around as a possibility.
as long as Carter and Davis are keeping them clean, should not be a problem for the Eagles!! Might be for San FranInteresting. Are we ready for McCaffrey with Morrow and Elliss???

Report: Zach Cunningham out at least this week with hamstring injury
Veteran free agent Shaquille Leonard is set to visit the Eagles on Wednesday and the meeting will come as the team prepares to move forward without a key part of their linebacking corps.www.yahoo.com
