So, the Phils go 3-4 with 3 extra inning games in the 7 recent games against the Braves. Pretty tight.
Would prefer 4-3, but I'll take that in the playoffs.
They need to get the bullpen right to have a shot against any good team in the playoffs. I don’t know how they do that.

this play, in the bottom of the 9th, was huge. I heard it on the radio, and Franske was pretty enthusiastic. The TV broadcast is below, with McCarthy doing the play-by-play, and Kruk offering the "let it go, let it go," as the color analyst.

tough game to feel confident about. Phils kept taking the lead, then the Mets would tie it back up, repeat. Then Kimbrel with another high-wire act in the 8th inning, and Alvarado also made things more interesting that I would have liked in the 9th inning. In the end, the good guys won. :)

Boss I gotta ask cause you’re all business bringing us the thread, which we love. How far do the fightins get? Are you having a blast or are you stressed out about our boys crazy run?

Stressed out? Not me, especially during the regular season.

I'm a passionate fan, and last year's postseason run was an absolute blast. But I don't allow loses, or frustrating plays (or players) to affect me that much, and I certainly don't linger on loses, even if they occur in the World Series.

As for how far will they get, I haven't a clue. A lot depends on matchups. They were quite fortunate last year in that their bats got hot and their starters pitched well, leading up to and through the playoffs. In addition, they benefitted a great deal from the Braves and the Dodgers getting knocked out in their respective opening rounds. This year, their starters seem a tad more inconsistent (though Nola's start the other day was encouraging). Their bats seem pretty hot (JT is in a slump), but they have struggled against some pitchers, so their offense is somewhat hot and cold. I wouldn't be surprised if they made it back to the World Series, and I wouldn't be surprised if they crashed and burned in the wild card playoffs. I'm just going to sit back and let it play out, and hope that things go well for the Fightins.

Kimbrel gives up a solo HR in the top of the 9th to Brett Baty, which ties the game 4-4. smh

Another *&*#ing game on Apple+ TV. I can never remember what I've signed up for, what streams I'm using my kid's accounts on, etc. Good grief. Just show the game on the regular channel.
Out of how many games you can actually see with Comcast? I get blacked out for almost all games due to Comcast. Directv gave me MLB Extra Innings so I am usually watching the game on 1/6th of a screen.

Fightins get a man to 3rd in the bottom of the 9th, but can't plate him. So we're going extra innings.

Pache walked. Rojas bunted him to 2nd. Schwarber grounded out to the 2nd baseman with Pache going to 3rd. Turner grounded out to the 3rd baseman to end the inning.

Almost every game I get on Comcast Sports Philadelphia, unless they are moved to Fox, or to Apple TV+. I can't remember if the Sunday games are on CSP or on the Philadelphia Fox station. No blackouts for me -- sorry you have the opposite.

I get the Mets, Yankees, and Pirates and on a rare occasion, the Phillies on the local MeTV channel

Fightins win in the bottom of the 10th. Turner started the inning on 2nd. The Mets intentionally walker Harper, bringing up Alex Bohm. He (Bohm) singled to right (off of Adam Ottavino), scoring Turner.

5-4, Phillies
