The past couple of games Turner has morphed back into the player he was at the beginning of the year. Looks like he has zero confidence.
Topper’s pitching decisions in game 4 looming really large right now.
Game 4 will specifically haunt all of us for a long time if there is no comeback.
Yeah, it has a D-Backs hits "finding a hole" and the Phillies "just missing" vibe.
Even Harper's previous at bat before that he smoked one, but right at Carroll...

I love this team and clubhouse, but they don't have many clutch players. They're great when things are going great and the ball is flying off their bats. But they get that deer in headlights look when things get tight. Amazing what can happen when you don't consistently strike out...
Arizona is playing how you play if you want to win playoff games. They're not at the plate looking to slug their way to a victory.
It really comes down to games 3 and 4. The Phillies had their foot on Arizona's throat and effed it up. Win either of those and they're in the World Series.
Excellent plate discipline. Not trying to do too much with two strikes. Phillies searching for the long ball. Still hope, but they need a crooked inning. Pitching to Carroll with a base open is the key decision so far. If its first and second, he can't steal to get into scoring position. Have to beat the 3 guys who have shut them down.
Pache and then Schwarber draw walks with 1 out in the bottom of the 7th for Saalfrank. DBacks going to the 'pen for Ginkel.

I'm calling this one, gang. It was a solid season, but this roster continues to be deeply flawed. Dombrowski needs to rethink it.
Homeritis. I'm a big Trea Turner fan, but that was an awful at bat. First 3 pitches were out of the strike zone. I've yipped about pitching to Carroll, but 3 runs in 16 innings at home at match point? When was the last line drive hit by a Phillie in this game? Marsh?
Not sure why any opposing pitcher would ever feel the need to throw in the strikezone. Just keep everything low and outside and nevertheless very rarely ever give up a walk. 
Meh. This Phillies lineup doesn't have 2 more runs in them, let alone 3+ to win. That would require 2-3 homers for them.
100% the issue with this roster. I don't recall a star-studded lineup playing smaller with RISP.
