Would like to show off some real USC attire in the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on April 7.
We didn't get a pick from @winloseortie on tonight's SEC game, Auburn vs Arizona, so I'll give it a shot. I watched a lot of SEC and PAC 12 basketball this season and I have no idea. 
Arizona is a slight favorite, so I'm not alone in not having a strong feel on this one. I'm going to take the Tigers because of their defense and all-around toughness. But if Honesty Scott-Grayson isn't on tonight, they will struggle mightily to score.

Well, at least I was right about the struggling to score part. Scott-Grayson: 2-11 shooting and 6 turnovers. That's a wrap.

Breezy was +61 in only 23 minutes in the first matchup. That's a crazy number. PC is good at the 1 and the 5, but definitely lacking on the wings. Cardoso dominated in the 1st game. I guess she'll be missed. Raven, however, didn't even play in that game. Sakima Walker had her best game of the season against PC. Tomorrow is her time to shine in the tournament.
UNC vs Michigan St
I've been checking the UNC boards to see if any of their injured guards are expected to return. No word. I guess the Tarheels are going to play with 2 guards tomorrow. 2 very good ones, but just two. How will they hold up against a 5 guard team? Obviously, the Heels have to dominate the paint.I can't make a pick in this one. I think I would rather face UNCarolina on Sunday; however, I'm completely incapable of rooting for them. Ever.

I go back and forth on who I want to face. I guess I’m more scared of UNC bc they gave us such a game before but I know at home it will be different.

Bama wins because…. Well I don’t know?? They are dogged on D and Sarah Ashlee Barker is angry. You don’t want SAB angry, she doesn’t even have to wear leather or a cape to kick FSU’s A$$.
Vandy vs Baylor
Vandy has been a thrilling upbeat story after a dismal decade. Baylor has been a disappointment. Quintessential Feel good scrappy team vs underperforming talented team. I’m taking talent in this one but Vandy doesn’t die easy. In fact if the post Mulkeys screw around… just like Hans they could be thrown off Nakatomi Towers.
A&Mvs The Women of the Corn 
If ever a team needed two weeks to regroup it’s A&M. They get healed and the talent comes together, at least for Friday. Like all 5-8 seeds Nebraska is schizo, beat Iowa then lose to an 8-24 Rutgers. Nebraska likes to play smooth and pretty. Well princess welcome to a Joni Taylor rock fight. You will discover that playing a Joni Taylor team is like wrestling a pig. Even if you win you ain’t going to look like a prom queen afterwards.
UN carolina vs The Spartans
These carolina girls are not the best in the world but they are bigger and rougher than the Spartans. But General Johnson and the Chairmen of the Board was wrong, they ain’t “precious as diamonds and hotter than heat.”

Other than being Slow, Small and unable to Shoot Michigan State is pretty good
Poorly coached as well? Despite all their many deficiencies, this game would be a lot closer if the Spartans didn't run that terrible press in the 1st quarter. Gave up WAY TOO MANY easy transition baskets. They have to make UNC play offense in the half-court. That's the Tar Heels' weakness.
Does anything that y’all are seeing from UNC give you concern? Their scoring has definitely fallen off since that first quarter. MSU looks tired and frustrated.
Ustby is just a nasty player and I mean that as a compliment. Rebounds, runs the floor, posts up well and is always in position. Watkins and Kitts will have their hands full. She also gets under player's skin. Watkins will have to keep her cool!!
Gakdeng has had a big day but that is a function of Michigan state’s total lack of size

Gakdeng. She was the tall African American in the middle? She looks pretty athletic. With her, Utsbey and their guard, I am not sure why they did not have a better year.
They lack shooting. Despite some easy transition buckets in the 1st half and a huge size advantage they only shot 40% today. Injuries were also an issue. Their fade in the 4th quarter today could be attributed to lack of depth.
Feagin filling in nicely for Cardoso. She has really come on nicely this year. Liked her mid-range jumper.

I didn't watch game- prison don't have cable, but 3 bench players scored and rebounded very close to 5 starters - yes, I know who the bench players were. Chloe leading scorer and rebounder off the bench
Gamecocks win 91-39. An 18-point MOV difference from their 99-29 win earlier in the regular season, but the Gamecocks were without the services of Cardoso and Hall, while I'm sure the Blue Hose has improved over the season. But this wasn't a game match-up where the loss of Cardoso's size and rebounding was going to hurt.

Almost pitched a shutout in the 4th quarter. Would have been the 2nd time we've done that in the NCAA tournament. Who remembers the first?

Yep. For some reason Amihere couldn't play the 1st half of that game and she had 9 blocks in the 2nd half. NINE. One of the great individual and team defensive efforts in program history.
30-27. LSU over Rice at half. No field goals for Angel Reese. LSU will most likely blowout the Owls in the 2nd half. But this game exposes an issue for the Tigers: Rice has a center who isn't tall but she is wide. Reese can't dislodge her. When she can't dislodge her defender, she doesn't really have another weapon in her arsenal to fall back on.
