I like the post offering data and context, but that March number is the minute sample size of three games. Stott did struggle it seemed for the balance of the year. It’s almost as if he had a sophomore slump in his third full season.Great post.
It’s likely we would have needed a tractor to pull a toothpick out of your ***.My sphincter got quite a workout watching that game.
I said the same thing! Started following the Phillies in 63 at age 6. Lucky enough to be there last night with my son.One of the wildest games, regular season or playoffs I have ever seen in 60 years.
There were many very cool and LOUD parts but the most disappointing was the Phillies are using “Make some Noise” in a too familiar and irritating voice. Lol.we'll give you a night to recover your voice, deal with your family, contact recruits, etc. But as I mentioned above in a prior post, we'd love to hear details about what it was like sitting in CBP during that roller coaster of a game.
Topper overthinks a lot of moves.I feel like Topper is overthinking that move.
I get the wide arm angle LHP thing, but Stott has 2 hits and 2 BBs in 8 PAs vs Manea. Does Thompson know this? It's easy to google.Topper overthinks a lot of moves.
They’ve been dead offensively since the All Star Break. This isn’t new. It’s who they’ve been for 3 months. That stings. They needed that game. Bad time of the year for the bats to go cold. Not sure what the solution is in the offseason, but this lineup is boom or bust at the plate.
Exactly. Before the ASB they were taking pitches and hitting to opposite fields. It was a refreshing change, making me think they finally learned their lessons for offensive approach. But all that went out the window the second half. They’ve been dead offensively since the All Star Break. This isn’t new. It’s who they’ve been for 3 months.
All I hear about is pitching but like you said they lose because they don't hit. They’ve been dead offensively since the All Star Break. This isn’t new. It’s who they’ve been for 3 months.
I saw that Ranger is slated to pitch tomorrow. @Grant Green , time to see if you’re right about him being a good #4 for the playoffs.
We’ll find out what kind of veteran moxie this team has.
I take full blame for the loss if he tanks. They’ve been dead offensively since the All Star Break. This isn’t new. It’s who they’ve been for 3 months.

That was ugly.Appears I picked a good game to have to miss.
Now that wasn’t my intent. But many of us didn’t expect the season to rest on Ranger’s shoulders so soon.I take full blame for the loss if he tanks.
Yes except the Dodgers’ offense was pretty good in Game 1 and scored 5 last night.doesn’t pay to lock up the 1 or 2 seeds…. The byes make you lose any type of momentum you might have had. The dodgers are grim right now too
