Apparently the ND WR coach is from his hometown and close with the family.
What else was he going to talk about? His school getting shellacked?
I would have preferred Helen.
I was getting concerned that last weekend's cold weather in State College might be deterring to some of the portal targets.
His body size and type reminds me of the WR from Oregon that shredded PSU. Maybe JF saw that and learned he wanted that option as well. PSU needs a WR that can stretch the field

@Mister Magoo, congratulations.
I rarely share private details about myself/my family, but I'll throw this one in. My 1st grandchild was born nearly 9 months ago. While I was looking forward to becoming a grandfather, I didn't realize how much fun it would be. Fortunately for my grandchild, unlike your grandson, they won't be getting a Red Sox hat for Christmas. (They're getting an Eagles onsie, and some PSU onsies, in the clothing side of the gifts.)
Don't take my busting on the Red Sox/your grandson too seriously. I always liked the Red Sox. As a Sixers fan and an Eagles fan, my like for the Sox doesn't carry over to the Celtics or to the Patriots. But that's just me ... you do your best to bring the grandson up properly, and to root for the Red Sox, other Boston teams, as well as Penn State.
If you send me his address I’ll send your grandson a Neshaminy sweatshirt, get him started out right.
@Mister Magoo, don't take him up on it. @LionJim is a good guy (in general), but a Neshaminy sweatshirt would be about the worst thing he could wear (well, 2nd worst -- a Cowboys' sweatshirt would be the absolute worst).
No prob Tom. I remember when we could have fun on board. Without the hate. His dad is a Philly sports fan. PSU and Sawx for sure. Everyone down there likes Eagles. I can see that. They live in Lancaster. Maybe, he’ll go to Mannheim Twp. His other grandfather is a Red Sox fan too.
I left my Sox hat at my daughter’s house and he found it. Sixers and Flyers really need to get their act together. He’s healthy, seems to be catching on to things quickly. All I can ask.

Tom....enjoying your grandchildren only gets better with the next one and the next one etc. I have 10 grandbabies and they are the joys of my life.
