I think you are greatly overstating the eventual impact to the Michigan program. The NCAA will kick this around for another year or two and eventually release a sternly worded letter with perhaps a meaningless fine. That’s about it.Thrust the program into a cheating scandal of epic proportions. The HC and several assistants had to leave to escape show cause rulings. 1 assistant fired outright and the ring leader banished. The program, already on probation, is responding to a NOA at this moment. The current coach once sanctioned, will likely face suspension, with additional sanctions for the program when the NCAA rules.
I'll take the type of program Joe built and James continued everyday of the week and twice every Saturday.
I do agree that James Franklin is running this program in a manner that would make Joe proud.
