I continue to be amazed at the fact that Notre Dame lost two OL in the first half and went into the game down another OL starter and we could not control their offense better. Giving up those two marches in the "middle 8 minutes" kept the game on a razor's edge. Our QB play was disappointing, but the loss was multi-factorial.

Multi-factorial? Maybe @LionJim can explain it.

This is very disappointing. Like any quality interwebs coach, I made no contributions and complained early and often. That should have been rewarded.
Truth be told, we have younger and cheaper internet wide reciever coaches who can do the job just as well as you have. We have to look out for our bottom line.

Please leave your internet credientials with the HR Manager.

The FG before the half with a backup QB really swapped the momentum as ND had NONE up to that point. Then they come out and tie the game immediately on the first drive. To me the PRIMARY reason PSU lost that game was the drive before and immediately after the half. Cam slipping sucks, but that does happen from DB's from time to time. QB's miss throws. 15 wasn't incredible, but pinning that loss on him just lacks any merit to be honest. Hell had Abdul been able to maintain that fumble it's either 17 or 13-0 going into the half. That milk is spilled, but I'm not pinning it on any one player as there are too many plays that impacted that outcome.
Agreed, in the stadium discussions at half time with the fans around me were about the missed opportunities in the second quarter to put a stranglehold on the game. The late FG at the end of the first half with the ND starting QB being screened for a concussion was a game turning development. The ND OL asserted itself while shorthanded then and at the start of the second half. It was very disappointing.

Allar was considered all-world coming out of high school. Sadly, he hasn’t had one reliable WR in his time at PSU. That likely doesn’t explain everything about his play, but it has to affect his confidence. Football experts (not us) talk about trust between a QB and his WRs. I have to believe that Allar hasn’t had that with his WRs the past two years.

This may be the most offensive thing ever stated on the internet.

Definitely more offensive than the PSU WRs' production.
