I like him because he ain’t small. Will help Hubbard.
He’s bigger than Hubbard but he’s still slightly undersized. Seems like a very good athlete though. With any Jans player, a lot will depend on how much defense is able or willing to play.

I hate to be a party pooper but seems to me if the was any good he would not have gone to UAB and then 2 junior colleges. He averages 11 points in junior college. I'm sure he will dominate the SEC. I'm sure a few of you can point out the reasons I'm wrong and why the talent level won't have any impact on his scoring yada yada.

Good pickup. Hopefully he can keep up his efficiency and play defense for us. Now we need another shooter, small forward, and a center that can clean up the boards.

Nice get, but until he starts landing some 4* and 5* caliber difference makers, we aren't improving. He needs 2 of those to replace the starters we are losing. Need some length, including a point guard and true 5 man that can play. Hopefully we have the $$$ to afford a better team.

Real question... Does he play solid defense, with a little help side and scrambling.... Because if he can't or won't, it will not matter how well he shoots from deep.

Am I supposed to be excited? I never know these days.
Just another day. We lose 4-5 players to the portal we bring in 4-5 players from the portal. I’ll start caring in November.
40% shooter from 3, three games over 25+ points this year. Apparently has some ball handling ability too. Seems like a solid add. I know Ole Miss pursued him too.

hes gonna have to cut that 3-point % in half if he wants to play here.

At first read, I was a little disappointed in the signing. But then I look at what Bruce Pearl seems to get out of his transfers from non powerhouse basketball schools.

Broome: Morehead St.
Denver Jones: FIU
Baker-Mazara: NW Florida State College
Kelly: Georgia Tech
Johnson: UAH
Pegues: Furman

I'm not that big a fan of Pearl, but he and his staff seem to be able to evaluate talent way better than our staff.

I hope I'm wrong and ya'll are right. Those guys were pretty good at Auburn. Everybody on both basketball teams are in the portal and we sign a guy averaging 11 points at UAB. I dont know. Looks bleak to me. But whats new. Typical State athletics

Until this staff shows me that they can pull in one guy from the portal and make him SEC caliber, I'm leaning on the skeptical side.

Yes, will we be able to keep Kentucky and auburn in the low 90s?

Are we sure he wasn't out of the Alabama prison league?

Even if he doesn't start we need solid players off the bench. Welcome aboard.

Robbie says he is a good pickup, so take that for what it's worth. Coming off the bench to replace Hubbard.
