He's made in the States, so no increase in NILWhat does this have to do with tariffs?
Beat out Ole Miss for him. Which for some on here will be a big deal because Ole Miss is the greatest university ever and Beard is the best coach in basketball. Just ask them.Am I supposed to be excited? I never know these days.
He’s bigger than Hubbard but he’s still slightly undersized. Seems like a very good athlete though. With any Jans player, a lot will depend on how much defense is able or willing to play.I like him because he ain’t small. Will help Hubbard.
Is it not Ja’Borri McGhee? The graphic should’ve been better. I missed it too at first. How do we send out a graphic that doesn't even have his name on it? Or is his name Coming Home?
He was the one who tweeted it out.Is it not Ja’Borri McGhee? The graphic should’ve been better. I missed it too at first.
He was at uab this past seasonI hate to be a party pooper but seems to me if the was any good he would not have gone to UAB and then 2 junior colleges. He averages 11 points in junior college. I'm sure he will dominate the SEC. I'm sure a few of you can point out the reasons I'm wrong and why the talent level won't have any impact on his scoring yada yada.
Of course. The circumference of the basket is smaller at State. He will be a 20 percent shooter at Mississippi State no doubt
Huge difference then. Wow...my whole opinion changed. **************He was at uab this past season![]()
Just another day. We lose 4-5 players to the portal we bring in 4-5 players from the portal. I’ll start caring in November.Am I supposed to be excited? I never know these days.
40% shooter from 3, three games over 25+ points this year. Apparently has some ball handling ability too. Seems like a solid add. I know Ole Miss pursued him too.
And if he even pretends to guard the perimeter, cut the kid loose!hes gonna have to cut that 3-point % in half if he wants to play here.
Baker-Mazara: NW Florida State College
Until this staff shows me that they can pull in one guy from the portal and make him SEC caliber, I'm leaning on the skeptical side.I hope I'm wrong and ya'll are right. Those guys were pretty good at Auburn. Everybody on both basketball teams are in the portal and we sign a guy averaging 11 points at UAB. I dont know. Looks bleak to me. But whats new. Typical State athletics
Yes, will we be able to keep Kentucky and auburn in the low 90s?Real question... Does he play solid defense, with a little help side and scrambling.... Because if he can't or won't, it will not matter how well he shoots from deep.
At first read, I was a little disappointed in the signing. But then I look at what Bruce Pearl seems to get out of his transfers from non powerhouse basketball schools.
Broome: Morehead St.
Denver Jones: FIU
Baker-Mazara: NW Florida State College
Kelly: Georgia Tech
Johnson: UAH
Pegues: Furman
I'm not that big a fan of Pearl, but he and his staff seem to be able to evaluate talent way better than our staff.
Apparently tariffs are keeping us from being able to afford the BMW's of the basketball world. Hope he works out. Can he play point? What does this have to do with tariffs?
No worries. We might can finance a still-Canton-produced Nissan player.Apparently tariffs are keeping us from being able to afford the BMW's of the basketball world. Hope he works out. Can he play point?
Only against us***At Ole Miss he would be a 50 percent 3 shooter next year
