I suppose they can but I'm not counting on it
I think PSU finishes 2nd. I believe the offense will surprise people and really put points on the board. OSU is just so stacked they will be a very tough opponent and see that as a loss.I sure hope so.

I'll be pulling for them but not as fanatically as in years gone by.Do we have a better chance if we don’t play?

Washington I have as a W.... Oregon I consider a toss up and showing my true blue colors give it to PSU.um? oregon? washington?
Well, since we don't play Oregon............Washington I have as a W.... Oregon I consider a toss up and showing my true blue colors give it to PSU.![]()
Out of these 3, we only play Washington this year unless we make it to the B1G Championship game where we may play one of the other 2. In that case, It's been written both teams from the B1G Championship make the CFP.um? oregon? washington?
Sorry my bad I should have stated I am looking at the entire big 10 landscape not just this year's regular season opponents. Can't explain it just have a weird feeling this team is going to play very well this year.Well, since we don't play Oregon............
That's why it's a toss upWell, since we don't play Oregon............

I have the summer optimistic view that the offense is going to be really good and the defense will be solid. Talk to me in late November how well my optimistic views (I feel this way every summer..) made outIt wouldn’t shock me if they could get there. But, I think we lose at least two - OSU and USC. I also think it’s going to be tough for anyone to run the table in conference so who knows - stay healthy and hope the new coordinators are an upgrade (on offense anyway). It should be a really fun season to watch - elimination of divisions and new blood will make for a very unpredictable year I think.
We're looking for Nostradamus, not Aristotle. We are undefeated until we are not.
The game has to slow down for Allar and he's going to need more help from the WRs and OC.I have the summer optimistic view that the offense is going to be really good and the defense will be solid. Gee, that was awesome. We're looking for Nostradamus, not Aristotle.
The game has to slow down for Franklin. The game has to slow down for Allar and he's going to need more help from the WRs and OC.
Stating the obvious.
For sure. But because they caught lightning in a bottle with Trace, Saquon and Moorhead I will probably fall for it the rest of my life.I used to think the team would kick *** after adding a cool new OC.
Say we finish 2nd to OSU in a close game and they are ranked 1 at the end of the season and that's PSU's only loss. I would venture to guess the 12-team format will put PSU in the top 4. Had it been the old format right at 5

You would be wrong. The highest PSU could be seeded would be 5.Say we finish 2nd to OSU in a close game and they are ranked 1 at the end of the season and that's PSU's only loss. I would venture to guess the 12-team format will put PSU in the top 4. Had it been the old format right at 5
FIFY.1312.
that's a lot of pretendingFive conference champs (B1G/SEC/ACC/Big 12/?), and then next highest ranked seven teams. Let's pretend:
B1G - OSU
SEC - Georgia
ACC - Clemson
Big 12 - Utah
Group of 5 - Memphis
Then let's say:
Notre Dame
Alabama
Michigan
Oregon
Florida State
LSU
That would leave one spot available for the likes of PSU, Texas, Ole Miss, A&M, Miami, Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Washington State, Oregon State, etc.
Yeah lots of room for improvement. Interesting though that he tied the QB from Maryland in most TD passes in Big (25) as a first year starter. The game has to slow down for Allar and he's going to need more help from the WRs and OC.
