I figured car guys would know. The Sunbeam Tiger was called the "poor man's Cobra" THey were small Brit sports cars with either a 260 or a 289 Ford small block stuffed into them- fast, light and a ton of fun to drive.Could you list the make/model/year as well? Some context would be good too (like, bang for your buck, etc)?

The Dodge Dart 340 was a handful for pricier (and bigger) Chevelles and GTOs
I grew up in the 70’s. This was one of THE cars to own.
[I cannot figure out how to post the picture]
I owned one as well. Sold it because of too many speeding tickets.88 Acura Integra 3-door. Pop up headlights, 8000 rpm redline, smooth as silk 5-speed, and 30+ mpg.
Favorite car I ever owned.

1000 Ft/lbs of torque
1-2 million BTUs
no transmission
held speed records in its day
I get what you are saying, but I doubt anyone with a Chevelle or GTO would have traded them for the Dart.I figured car guys would know. Beautiful car.Chevelle 396 SS with a shifter kit. Had to sell it to pay my speeding tix also.

I'd have to go with the AMC Javelin AMX over the Dart.....first muscle car used by police to run down speeders on interstates.I figured car guys would know. do I have to do everything?I'd have to go with the AMC Javelin AMX over the Dart.....first muscle car used by police to run down speeders on interstates.
My dad had a Chevy S-10 truck that he put a 350 in it. Fast little truck.91 GMC Syclone, 0-60, 4.3 sec. Test drove one back in the day. About as quick as you could go back then, and this was in a truck.
How do you build this beauty, and then build a Gremlin ?do I have to do everything?
It was absolutely a fun car. So much so that I’m kinda curious about how this one drives.88 Acura Integra 3-door. Pop up headlights, 8000 rpm redline, smooth as silk 5-speed, and 30+ mpg.
Favorite car I ever owned.

Trying to find a way to take Dad’s silver ‘69 1-title I grew up with off his hands. It’s only a 350 (383), but now has the SS hood due to a little incident. The first car I ever drove.Chevelle 396 SS with a shifter kit. Had to sell it to pay my speeding tix also.

‘69 Camaros are at the top of the muscle car price range. They were everybody’s favorite. Add in the Yenko package and you are talking big bucks.Any idea where this price stands compared to other muscle cars in the late 60’s? My dad’s favorite car has always been a ‘69 Yenko Camaro. I read someone paid $4,410 for one that came with:
Ouch! Mine was $4410.00 with T&L in May '69. Orange RS SS parchment top, both spoilers, Endura bumper, 8 track, Light group, console gages, 375hp 396, TH400 and 4:10 Posi. First thing I wrote down on the order sheet was posi. Almost bought the J8 brakes,,,damn!
I also saw Chevy reintroduced the Yenko a couple of years ago - 1050 HP!!

I just sold my 2018 SS with the 1LE Track Package. Very nice, fun car. Wicked fast. Tough to handle on cooler days when the tires were cold. Way faster than the C5 Corvette I had before that. I miss them both.
Now that’s a carThe original big block killer- a1963 289 Shelby Cobra
My buddy had a frame off restoration on a 69 Camaro Z28. Sweet.‘69 Camaros are at the top of the muscle car price range. They were everybody’s favorite. Add in the Yenko package and you are talking big bucks.
