I know most of you can’t embrace the concept of a 3-loss team competing for a national championship.

But what if the Gamecocks go into Death Valley next week and hammer Clemson by double digits?

Would that change your mind?

That would be the Gamecocks’ 3rd victory over a ranked team, which, you know, would be 3 more than Indiana has.

If there’s going to be a 3-loss SEC team in the Playoff, why not the hottest 3-loss team in America?

Just when we thought we had it figured out, 3 SEC Playoff hopefuls lost in Week 13. At least we nailed Indiana, right? On that and so much more in and around the SEC.

At this point I’m pulling for Syracuse. I think the only way the ACC doesn’t get 2 teams is if we beat Clemson, Miami loses to Syracuse and SMU beats Clemson for the conference title.
I can see Clemson slipping in if they beat us and jump the loser of Miami/SMU. I also see Miami and SMU both going if they both win out and go toe to toe in the ACC championship

Agree. I believe from an optics standpoint, we haven’t just been winning but playing an exciting brand of football on both sides. They are gonna have a helluva time arguing against us IF we win
