I love the win, but this may be the softest 8-1 team I can recall. The defense needs to be fixed or they won’t have the season they want.

I'm sure they were trying to get a 1st down. If you pass, an incompletion stops the clock. If you pass, and throw an INT, then it's a disaster. If you throw and get a 1st, that probably seals the deal.
I had no complaints with running it 3 straight times, and making Dallas use up their TOs. Unfortunately, the 3rd down play was a cluster*$&%, which nearly resulted in a turnover, and didn't have a chance of getting a 1st down.
So there’s no super sure short pass Play in the books vs a stacked box on 2nd and 8 when the other team has 3 time outs?
That would have been a TE screen, but Goedert was hurt. Even then, Dallas has great short area speed and could have caused problems.
Then again with the way they executed that third down run…
about the only super sure play the Birds seem to have is the tush push, when they need a yard. They probably thought the 3rd down pass to A.J. on the previous series was a perfect call, when in reality, it wasn't close to being a completion.
I don’t know about soft but they sure had luck on their side today. Fumbled 3 times and recovered all of them. Wow
The defense specifically. When Sam Howell lights you up like Dak did today, then you worry.
Dak has been doing this for years against the Eagles. They don’t get consistent pressure and play soft coverage. Dak looks all world.
