i agree. and if there's one thing i've seen with Driscoll is that if you give him a week or 2 with the 1's in practice and games, he'll do decent, but yesterday him coming in cold PLUS Opeta next to him.... that right side of the OL is backups...

The NFL has a random testing program on players without notice and on demand. Some Players may indeed have non steroidal substances in their systems but the current testing protocol is quite accurate as it relates to steroidal substances. The Eagles Star receiver AJ Brown was immediately and randomly tested as he was entering the locker room post game after a recent victory. This was the second time that he was tested and passed in the past 2 seasons.
And Johnson was suspended twice for PEDs. Maybe the new testing system persuaded him to stop taking them.

The Eagles sucked yesterday. I’m not too worried about them but if Swift continues to have games like yesterday’s, in which he had 1.8 ypc on 10 carries, I’ll be changing my mind.

I’ve read that the Jets DL is real talented and I guess we saw this yesterday. I thought AJB had a great game, wow, what a talent, he’s special, a great player.

The Eagles will win NFC East, that much is certain. I suspect the winner of SF-Philadelphia will end up getting the home field. SF wasn’t supposed to lose yesterday, either. Beat SF and everything’s cool.

SF has a pretty easy schedule this season. We'll see how the Eagles stack up after the coming 7 game stretch. If they don't improve drastically, then the SF @ Philly game may be moot. The Eagles could be 6-4 in the blink of an eye if they don't pull things together.

idk, I am pretty if he tests hot again he is subject to a life time ban, voids his contract as well. Maybe this has something to do with it.

I recall that Johnson was adamant that he was given bad advice on nutritional supplements. He's not the only player to test positive and mention this. I think the NFL is doing a better job of providing resources on banned substances and OTC supplements known to contain them.

Johnson hasn't tested positive for 5-6 years now? And he's been the best RT in the game during that time. Labeling him as a substance abuser doesn't seem fair. He's clearly a top RT and may wind up in Canton the way things are going.

I don’t disagree at all just stating I believe the NFLhas a 3 strikes you out policy relative to roofs. Which as a 2 timer I always thought that was his motivation to stay clean

For sure. That’s my understanding too. My point is more that I don’t think he was intentionally trying to dope or cheat. He’s been too good for too long after strike 2.
