I just finished reading it. The article's a big nothing burger. She'd be a complete fool to draw more attention to herself when she'd have little chance of prevailing in a lawsuit.
Maybe her proactive warnings led them to tone down the version they ultimately published...
Highly doubt it. This writer is known for these kinds of profiles. It was never going to be anything else.
It was never going to be anything else. Defaming people or companies is bad business and it ends up costing you. The only reason defamation was part of the discussion is because Mulkey herself brought it up.
