Mich wants due process but what abour\t the rights of the players harmed by the the cheating. Mich is not man enough to admit wrong and accept the punishment.
Look at the flip side: who benefited from those transgressions? The Team, the Team, the Team!

Considering it's the coordinators who interacted with Stalion, you'd think the coordinators would be suspended. By game day the head coach has done 80%+ of their job.

Exactly my thoughts as well. If they really wanted to punish them, it would have been Harbaugh and both coordinators since the sign stealer was giving them real time sign interpretation on the sidelines leading to them calling a game one way or another.

“Like all members of the Big Ten Conference, we are entitled to a fair, deliberate and thoughtful process to determine the full set of facts before a judgment is rendered,” the school said.

When did due process become a factor? I wish due process prevailed over emotion, rush to judgment and mob mentality in 2011.

80 percent chance he'll be coach tomorrow. 100 percent chance Michigan is going to burn this conference to the ground.
Spaulding,

Today was a federal holiday. No courts were in session. No stay. No injunction. Not even Todd Richard Branch (as great as he is) can save Jimmy this time.

I suggest Jimmy spend his free time attending a wrestling practice tomorrow (if he's allowed on campus). He'd get a good workout in anyway.

Re current Court Action. It's under review. Paperwork filed.
Judge T Connors
Washtenaw County Michigan Circuit Court.

Judge: U of M undergrad
Wayne State University Law School.

Has lectured at the U of M Law School.

Will see what he decides. Harbaugh on the field tomorrow morning?
Who knows.

Edit: T Connors played as A D B for Michigan and Lettered in 1972 according to the Athletic's Chris Vannini.

Never. Legal due process is not relevant here. Clear to me that Michigan was putting up as much of a front as they could for appearances and damage-control, but had to know they were cooked. And Mars' 10pager is mostly theatrics for down the road. The conference had sufficient evidence of illegal activity DAYS ago, and they don't require a full investigation checking under every rock. Doesn’t matter what you say OSU/Rutgers/etc did. Doesn't matter how prevalent you say rule-breaking is. And the rules are clear that the head coach is ultimately responsible even if he had no knowledge, or no direct ties to the illegal activity can be proven. Doesn't matter and Mich knew it.

This punishment is deserved but relatively light. We'll see if the NCAA has anything to say, eventually.

Case now in front of Judge Carol Kunhke, not Judge Connors
As previously reported.

(can't imagine she was a D B for the Wolverines)
( Will leave it at that,,, beat the Wolverines tomorrow!!)

Northwestern fired Fitz based on the fact he was HC and was expected to know what is going on. The defense that he did not know did not work. So how can UMich make it fly?

For a TRO to be granted, the courts are supposed to confirm if there is a reasonable chance of success for the party submitting the injunction request. Not sure how that is apparent in this case.

Does this help not having the bully scare Franklin in the sidelines? We all know how he cowers vs hairball and day.

Apparently the fact that the Judge reviewing the TRO is a Michigan graduate, an elected state judge located in AnnArbor, who wears a maze and blue robe and enters the Courtroom to the first verse of “Hail to the Victors” has escaped your scrutiny.

Honestly don't think this helps PSU with the timing of the suspension, just emphasizes the us against the world mentality even more for scum I'm afraid.

I don't think that does much to influence the outcome. Should we expect Michigan players to now give 110% effort? There's plenty of incentive for all involved. Our fellows have a narrative that needs changing also.

This is what we are up against!

View attachment 445941

The northwestern president was highly critical when northwestern football players took a similar approach earlier this season. It seems that santa doesn’t care what the um players do. Then again, the northwestern players were shoving broomsticks up each other’s a$$es.

It's their fans that I feel bad for- not all of them, but the two or three who aren't arrogant a-holes.
Nah. They are delusional. They think they are annually a top tier program when they haven’t won an outright NC since 1948. They shared 1997 with Nebraska. Harbaugh is 1-6 in bowl games there anyway. I don’t feel bad for them. I sat in the Michigan section at the Beav in 2008 and they were so obnoxious…until PSU poured it on in the second half

Everyone is motivated differently, we shall see. Be nice to finally see JF win a big game regardless who's coaching Michigan.
