With Chris Partridge out at Michigan, the next Wolverines assistant that could be out is even more connected to head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Yes. It is a little convoluted but it does seem odd that the top 2 recruits at Paramus ended up at Michigan…and their HS head coach just happened to get a job there also. Peppers was a 2014 recruit. Partridge was his head coach. Partridge was then hired in 2015 when Harbaugh took over. Gary then signed in 2016. Maybe he was a strong proponent of PSU, but his best players went to Michigan and so did he. My memory is fried right now, it’s been a long day, but I don’t remember PSU getting any recruits from Paramus.

Even odder is that Chris left Paramus Catholic for a job at.......... Rutgers. That offer was rescinded and he wound up at Michigan.

Gary at one time had a reasonably strong interest in PSU. That fell off a cliff with the coaching change.

PSU got DT Corey Bolds from Paramus Catholic. Lasted about a year and eventually wound up at Rutgers.

it seems the LBer coach is Rick Minter the father of their current DC. I wonder what UM nepotism rules are seeing how I would guess the father is a direct report of the son. Rick has had and interesting career. Lets just say he is a different cat. He did get to leave Marshall and go to the Philadelphia Eagles with the Chipra. But boy hes a different cat.
