oops was typing my response and did not see the 3 game suspension announcement. To go to 3 game suspension he had to get additional approvals from B10 council.My best guess is nothing will happen before our game tomorrow.
B10 will come down with 2 game suspension for Harbaugh and a fine less than $10K which is consistent with B10 bylaws for Commissioner authority limits. Timing will be either Monday or Tuesday to give UM time prepare. UM will take legal action but will lose in court unless Judge is a UM zealot.
OSU vs UM game will be a must see TV.
He’s gone after the season, a la Pete Carroll style. I’m sure the plan is for Scum to instantly appeal and try and get him to finish the Season on the sidelines.

I wished that the BIG had waited until next week to suspend Harbaugh. This action will only incite the Michigan team to rub our noses in it.

Don’t like this coach only thing. The team definitely benefitted. Wait and ban team next year if necessary for legal reasons. They did it to PSU and tOSU.

This is only the appetizer. The Big 10 doesn't have investigators. They were in constant communication with the NCAA. The main course is coming. While conventional wisdom says at the end of the year....this move (3 games), leads me to believe that the NCAA is not prepared to sit silent and allow UM to take a playoff birth.

The damage to UM is massive. The NCAA is the oncoming train.
They may find a friendly judge but this isn't a legal matter. No laws were broken, only NCAA football rules. I guess a judge may say that the penalty was too high but, to me, it is like a judge granting an injunction because they don't like the definition of offensive holding. it's the rules.
