Is it any surprise the Nose pickers in Michigan are cheaters? Currently under investigation by the NCAA illegally scouting

His parents are RICH!
he at one point was reportedly living out of his car to save commute time, was subletting rooms in a house he had in Ann Arbor, was in the vacuum repair business, had filed business paperwork in Wyoming with an active student athlete on the team . Which of these behaviors suggests he was independently wealthy? Or are you suggesting his parents let him live in his car but funded his illicit UM scouting activities?

Not that this really matters as Hairball is responsible and accountable for the conduct of his staff, unless you're suggesting all cheating is permissible as long as there are not receipts or it's self-funded cheating.

It doesn't matter what they can trace back to your coach. I just wanted to see the expense reports because it would have been amusing. I'm a bit of a fraud scholar.

Enjoy your rocket ride.

Michigan caved this afternoon. Harbaugh is suspended for three games (including tOSU) and B1G agrees that the ongoing investigation by the NCAA will dictate any further action, if any.

They had a hearing scheduled for tomorrow morning in Ann Arbor court. I assume that this meeting will now not happen.

I'm not sure they caved. The punishment was accepted and the B1G will end its investigation. It seems like a quid pro quo to me.

you may be right. my understanding is that UM argued against the suspension in that the NCAA was involved and the B1G didn't have power over the NCAA so they need to wait until the NCAA completes its investigation. So taking the B1G suspension while the NCAA one goes on seems like UM didn't get anything. The only thing I can think is that the NCAA often takes a LONG time to complete whereas the B1G acted very quickly. UM may be feeling that they can complete this year, where they have a shot at a natty, and take the NCAA medicine later.

My guess is that someone in the judge's office sent word to UM that they were going to lose the hearing scheduled for today. UM told the B1G to back off until the NCAA completed and they'd get this off the front page for now. But I don't see UM winning anything here unless there is more to the agreement than has been made public. By that I mean that if the NCAA doesn't find clear evidence Harbaugh knew or was involved, that is the extent of the damage.

B1G had standing independent of the NCAA per its membership bylaws on fairness. Very broad, nebulous rule that encompasses such things as sign stealing (which has definitely happened). Michigan’s pushback was on the application of the rule, which they almost certainly would lose. So, B1G drops its investigation but NCAA is still doing theirs. This is a hit for Michigan especially since Harbaugh can’t coach against OSU.

totally agree but this isn't surprising. I had a person sue our HOA because they wanted to make repairs to a common area and this person didn't like the cost. The board allowed them to opt out but not be able to use the new stuff to avoid any extra costs. The person argued a) they couldn't afford the extra fee and b) if the improvements were made, the bylaws don't provide for locking out members. Of course, you can't have it both ways. The lawsuit cost the HOA almost $50k to fight. Not only didn't they make improvements, but the didn't make the much needed repairs due to the loss of revenue fighting this meaningless lawsuit. This is analogous to what UM was trying to do IMHO>

BTW, here is an idea for "who's the hottest"> AI generated most beautiful women most nations. I would go with Argentina, German, Canada and Spain. My guess is you'd go Ireland. I am very disappointed with Poland who has beautiful women in aggregate.

I think the NCAA should be talking to the fired LB coach asap.
I would imagine that Partridge will probably “dummy up” or “Lawyer Up” if you choose, if he has any interest in future coaching at a high level. The NCAA is probably going to have to dig hard to find the truth. A feat not exactly in their DNA.

So where did Christ Partridge gain his ethos? Paramus Catholic? This isn’t Chris’ first encounter with controversy.

There’s something strange about New Jersey high school football coaches.

Just keeping everyone up to speed....
These are just we found some stuff so please don’t do it again infractions. The real measure of the NCAA will be if they actually do anything about the sign stealing allegations.

Cheating, rule bending, and deflecting are all part of their quiver of talents that have no consequences. Let's hope the nose picker gets a pro job.
