We as fans, alumni, and supporters of Mississippi State Athletics and Mississippi State Football need to embrace the fact that we need a new separate, indoor practice facility for football and a new South Endzone, and more funding for NIL in order to be come competitive in the SEC Football race. Alumni and donors must step up to the plate and realize that we need these things to be competitive in SEC football and we must have the funding for these things. So all of you alumni donors that have money, I know that you are out there, why are you complaining that Mississippi State has become non-competitive in football and we have not been able to attract the best players, coaches, and administrators. Most of Mississippi State athletics teams sports have winning all-time percentages. We must step up to the plate in order to become competitive in the SEC football race. We have upgraded basketball, baseball, and even tennis facilities in recent years. However, Davis Wade Stadium needs South Endzone seating, and the football program needs a full-size indoor practice facility that is available all year round. We need more NIL funding to attract the best players to help us win in football in this new expanded SEC. The SEC has become bigger in 2024, so Mississippi State Football needs to become bigger in order to compete in the SEC football race. Thanks, as an alumnus 2000, 04, 06.
