There might have been a few great shows in that timeframe, but nothing in number like the decades before. They may have some who had a more adult subject matter, but that doesn't make them any more entertaining.

It’s all subjective my man. I mean you literally have an avatar of one of my favorite movies of all time, within the last 25 years. It’s also my friend Ryan Nelson’s favorite movie of all time. Shameless plug Main Attraction Podcast with Ryan Nelson and Justin Strawn. The thing I realized about today’s TV is it’s not a fair fight. In 1978 network TV had censorship and minimal pay. Today, cable can pay as much as movies and there is no censorship for what you can say.
