So, what degree do you get from State? I'm not sure how appealing a duel degree program would be. You can get a nursing degree at UMMC in less than 2 years now with their fast track program.

Our ****** IHL board should just let State do nursing. Most of the colleges in MS offer it anyway and there's still a shortage.

I wish we could move the PA program to Starkville and expand it. USM is about to start a PA program themselves on the coast.

Interdisciplinary Studies. Did you even read the article before blowharding?

The real question is, how does this additional degree actually benefit you?

Correct, and my point. Why would someone choose to go this path, when it's far more simple to simply go to nursing school?

I don't know whether to look at this as a successful invasion or negotiating a deal with The Taliban.

I googled this: https://shorelight.com/student-stories/what-is-an-interdisciplinary-studies-degree/

Ultimately, I guess it's up the student to already know their 'multiple interests' or whatever. I sort of maybe equate it to learning how to do AC work through a technical program or apprenticeship, but also getting a business degree so you ultimately know how to monetize a company one day.

Don't know the nursing hierarchy but I imagine there are multiple career paths in there.

Can get an RN degree at junior college now. I guess kids that get to State and change their direction it's good. Just not sure it gets us more students to campus.

MUW should be renamed MSU-Columbus and let us absorb their nursing school.

anyways, I'm sure have the Ws program so close doesn't help us.
