2nd & 30 for PSU

and then a good pass to Clifford that goes right thru his hands

then an incomplete

they go for it on 4th & 30, and tOSU gets the sack

this O is a mess today

One coach had good wide receivers...the other didn't. People keep trying to overcomplicate things. The WR position is the difference in the game...period...

...and it isn't even a surprise. It has been discussed as a concern in this forum ad nauseum, and now is simply manifesting.
Brian Hartline is probably the best WR coach in the country..he is really good at recruiting,,,that is part of coaching….

Didn’t say that,,,I was the one back in 2002 who professionally challenged Joe in front of 500 alum in palm beach ,,,why he wasn’t recruiting better in other regions….he wasn’t perfect but he did have currency.
And 2005 perhaps maybe on of PSU best teams ever we all seem to forget that

C'mon Man!! Who didn't see the coming?

p.s. it's the OL. PSU has been through 4-5 OL coaches and nothing improves. It's Fraudklin's preferred blocking "scheme" that is the problem.

Once you figure that out, you lower your expectations.

Agree….but who recruits the receivers? PSU….needs to scour the portal post season and load up with offensive skill talent. However… if the fan base is happy with 2 - 3 loss seasons then by all means carry on with no changes.

Same **** every year. Something is just wrong here. Coaching staff does not have the team prepared; or the right personnel. Absolute **** offensive performance.

I feel bad for this team.

This has to be one of the worst performances by a Penn State QB I can remember. Horrible.
He wasn’t ready nor prepared much like last year at Iowa..back up wasn’t ready or prepared either…not the kids fault IMHO

tOSU with a 45-yard FG attempt but it's wide left.

PSU takes over with 2:41 left

Still 20-6, tOSU

Really? It's his 7th start. How many more starts does he need to have to complete a pass. Just one pass.
