I don't put any of this on the defense. They played their asses off the entire game. Harrison is a pro and he played like it and unlike PSU, their coordinators found ways to get him open, especially with well-timed crosses to get him away from Kalen. But even for as good as Kalen is, he can't handle a pro like that 1-on-1. He needed help and there was none to be had.

And Fox was fondling themselves all game over OSU. Blatant bias, ******** holding call negating the scoop and score, all player features, statlines, views of the sideline, etc. were OSU.

Time for new coaching blood who can find a way to beat OSU.

Didn’t say that,,,I was the one back in 2002 who professionally challenged Joe in front of 500 alum in palm beach ,,,why he wasn’t recruiting better in other regions….he wasn’t perfect but he did have currency.
That currency was almost 20 yrs old at that point.

One coach had good wide receivers...the other didn't. People keep trying to overcomplicate things. The WR position is the difference in the game...period...

...and it isn't even a surprise. It has been discussed as a concern in this forum ad nauseum, and now is simply manifesting.
Buck stops with Franklin. This is his new excuse?

They did. They took it back.

That’s great, but the facts remain. Paterno was 2-9 vs Carr, 3-8 vs Ferentz, 3-6 vs Tressel. I don’t know what his record vs top 15 teams were during the last decade but it wasn’t good. You could also argue that Penn State didn’t have as difficult a schedule during the independent years that gave them the two NCs. I don’t think it’s easier to play for a NC today. Not when you are in the same division as OSU and UM. Does something need to change? ABSOLUTELY! But throwing barbs at Franklin when we sat silently satisfied for a decade or more of mediocrity seems hypocritical, no?

Sat silently?!? These boards were loaded with folks saying Paterno needed to retire for a decade.

...and why wasn't the helmet to temple hit on one of our best defensive players reviewed? Didn't it qualify as 'spearing'?

For thought purposes, when does it become practical to think about buying out Franklin? Two years? Three?

Ten years in, he’s not going to get it and turn the corner. Yes, we can do worse, but better to rotate through a few coaches and at least try to find the next truly good PSU coach.

Look at the coaches who have won NCs since 2000 - a staggering amount do so on fewer than their first four years.

Really? It's his 7th start. How many more starts does he need to have to complete a pass. Just one pass.
He's a QB, who like Hack, has to deal with an OL that blocks under some bizarre Franklin scheme.

After a long review, the TD stands.

PSU is going for 2

A lateral to KLS and he tries to throw it to ??, but tOSU's D knocks the ball away.

PSU is 0-3 on trick plays.
