Yep, they would pick up the flag and say no penalty. The question is would they have called that against OSU if OSU got a scoop and score? I kind of doubt it.
So what was the big discussion about

Two chunk plays to TEs. First passes to them all day. And then a cute reverse play for nothing. Settle for the FG.Does anyone else hate the offense?
Penalties made a 7 point swing. I guess the Beau Pribula thing was all smoke and mirrors. You can complain about the calls, but this game is on the offense.
Tom your comment makes sense i wish other posters could see it that way.it has nothing to do with whether the QB was a runner. His forward progress had been stopped, and the whistles were blowing. After the QB was driven backwards, Kobe King threw him down. That's why it was an "after the play" PF.
you want to quibble on that? He threw him down, or pushed him down. That's football 101 -- when the play is whistled dead, you don't do that or you get flagged every time.
The replay clearly showed he let go of him. There was no push. No throw. His arms went backwards. Not forwards. Bad call.
As often happens, the ref conspiracy BS is pathetic.
well, I watched the same replay, and felt that it clearly showed him pushing/throwing the QB down, and then raising his hands like "I didn't do anything." I'd done with this argument
Don't need.. But it was there..I’m shocked there was not PI
That guy is such an a**“Not even close” says Gus JOhnson on the Allar pass
I would never wish anything good for any of the b1g refs, but in all fairness, klatt said that the ref who called the defensive holding couldn’t see the sack-fumble all the way upfield. Then again, maybe klatt’s in on it.
He wasn’t wrongThat guy is such an a**
Problem is that UM is going to pound OSU. UM is just too physical. The B1G "scripts" their preferred season outcomes. They wanted O$U and scUM in the Final Four, but Hairball's cheating has altered their plans.
O$U beats PSU.
PSU barely beats scUM
O$U beats scUM.
O$U to Final Four.
PSU and scUM for some meaningless Jan 1st bowl.
He’s got it if they give him some time and the receivers get get openHe wasn’t wrong
IM questioning now whether Allar has what it takes.
This is why they should have played him more last year.He wasn’t wrong

Me too. Thought he was better. He's like Hack. Not quite up to the task.He wasn’t wrong

I stand behind you on this Tom, not arguing with Nittany softies.well, I watched the same replay, and felt that it clearly showed him pushing/throwing the QB down, and then raising his hands like "I didn't do anything." I'm done with this argument
And it's not his job to see that sack-fumble situation. The hold happened just before the sack so he's gotta flag it. The lesson for Kalen is to stop holding but apparently, that's the only thing that might stop Harrison today.I would never wish anything good for any of the b1g refs, but in all fairness, klatt said that the ref who called the defensive holding couldn’t see the sack-fumble all the way upfield. I was thinking he looks exactly like Hack did when distressed.Me too. Thought he was better. He's like Hack. Not quite up to the task.
