That's what you do when the opponent loads the box and plays man defense. They finally let Allar throw down field and we get 33 yards.
“You’re looking at your claws and you’re looking at your fangs and you’re thinking, ‘I dunno how to kill the bunny!’ With THIS you don’t know how to kill the bunny!”
Cliff reminds me of Greg Garrity. Great body control.
Best play of the first half. Kept foot in, held on through the fall.Cliff reminds me of Greg Garrity. Great body control.
Ok. I’ll play. PSU had two costly dead ball personal foul penalties in the first half. The second wiped out a drive that could have just about put the game away. That comes from a lax culture in the program…coaches set the culture.Florida State only up by a TD at half, poorly coaches program. K State losing at half, poorly coached program. Michigan should have lost to Illinois last year, poorly coached program.
I think Kansas and Toledo had very athletic running QBs which is kryptonite for Illinois. We don’t really have that option that they have to defend.I wonder if anyone on the staff actually watched the KU-IL game tape from last week.
Bench Allar? (I kid!)I think Kansas and Toledo had very athletic running QBs which is kryptonite for Illinois. We don’t really have that option that they have to defend.
Michigan might rush for 300 yards against us.Blake Corum is going to chew us up.
FSU's QB got knocked ot of the game temporarily (shoulder). Back in now and threw a TD for them to go up 24-10.Florida State only up by a TD at half, poorly coaches program. K State losing at half, poorly coached program. Michigan should have lost to Illinois last year, poorly coached program.
There were also several long breaks with commercials that were not TO’s or possession changes - allowed Ill to restOk. I’ll play. They continue to fart around on offense with no real identity. It cost them at least 4 points on their first red zone opportunity. They squandered a 3-1 turnover ratio in that first half…always a key ingredient for getting upset on the road.
Many of us have long accepted this staff for what it is: a recruiting/talent play. They’ll out talent 9-10 teams a year but consistently lose to OSU and Michigan and occasionally get upset by an Illinois or Iowa.

Also, the OL is still an issue.Things I’ve learned with the first conference game on the road:
1) Allar is human
2) This team can be too emotional and cost themselves with penalties when pressed
3) We may have found a kicker!!!
Hopefully adjustments will be made at the half.

Hopefully he catches a TD pass in the National Champ game to seal the deal.Cliff reminds me of Greg Garrity. Great body control.
Then 4-0 now. Let’s see what they can do.3-0…..not 3-1
