Credit to the Arkansas fans/coaching staff for not acting like a-holes every time a player goes down.
not exactly. that game is fun whether it's a win, a loss, or a draw. Only thing you worry about in that game is a serious injury
And if he continues to (a) overthrow wide open receivers, (b) be utterly inaccurate when rolling out in either direction, (c) avoid open receivers and force the ball to those who are (often double) covered, etc. He struggles just fine on his own, without any “help” from the lack of blocking.
While I'm complaining... heard too many statements from the one commentator that Arkansas was so excited for this game and (insinuating) that PSU was not. If true, that is on the coaches and may explain in some part the poor performance. If false, that commentator is a biased jack-***.
Best part about today's game was being able to have one more in-game thread/chat with everyone before next fall. Win or lose, always fun (for me anyway).
"Explosive plays" isn't an offensive identity. Seems like the coaches don't have one. This offense is hapless and uninspired.

yeah, I enjoyed that aspect of the day. Some folks go a tad overboard, but that's to be expected in a game chat, especially when PSU loses.

Can anyone confirm that the coaches and team actually practiced for the last month….the team may have shown up at the facilities but I’m seeing no evidence that they practiced. These coaches need to look in the mirror because if we truly have the talent that the scouting sites say we do there is no excuse for the lack of fundamentals that this team displays on a consistent basis….and if we don’t have the talent, that falls on them as well.
Depth is a big issue and has been under Franklin. We loose a starter at any position and we have a major drop off.
Hopefully a better performance next season so we all don't have to moan and whine!
Agree. You’d better score on those explosive plays because if you don’t and don’t have an offense that can close the deal (I.e., stinks in the red zone like PSU), you’ll be relegated to field goal attempts.
Too old to get worked up about bowl games. I still want us to 'be better', and not sure CJF is the guy, but out of my hands. On to next year!
