I don't know if they announced the reason (I'm flipping between PSU game, Phillies game, and the end of the Sixers game). He was out for the practice earlier this week that the press gets to attend for @ 15 minutes, and that was reported. As such, there was some suspicion that he was injured, but CJF never gives out that info in advance of a game

A dumb timeout?? Why? If they get that stop on 3rd down, they have a ton of time left. It's only dumb because they gave up the first down.
I disagree. If PSU had stopped Minny on 3rd down, they would have had 2 TOs left, and over a minute left in the half. That's why PSU called the TO after 2nd down when they stopped them for a short gain. Alas, Minny converted the 3rd down.
