I still think he’d be dumb to take that job (It’s a coaching graveyard). However, Auburn could easily pay more than OM. If the “rumors” are true that AU will offer $77M over 7-years. That means OM would have to offer 19.25 over 4-years (State Law) unless they work some back door deal through their foundation for a retention bonus or something. He’d also have an easier path to the playoffs and more NIL money.
His ultimate goal is to get back to the NFL, so I’m sure his decision will be based on which program can catapult him there more quickly.
