OT: I don't get the AI for business commercials

They all seem to have the wrong tenor to me. They all seem to make an incompetent boob look good without them really trying. It like your team of idiots won't sound like idiots with AI, even though they are still idiots.

Guess it makes for a "funny" commercial to make it less scary or something? I've never used it to make an email sound professional. I use it all the time to write VBA code that will do hours of work in Excel in 3 minutes.

The first thing I actually used it for was making a GPT that creates youth baseball practice plans.

Unfortunately in our current text-language society, where proper English is the second language -- behind emojis, abbreviations, and purposeful misspellings -- I'm afraid this is probably on target. There seem to be many more people (my kids included) who seem normal, and can speak just fine, but can't spell or write a paragraph correctly to save their lives.

Give me a VBA code that (does whatever I needed done)

It wrote one in a few seconds and even told me how to run it in my workbook.

Definitely there is usage for AI, and your points make much more sense for trying to sell it. I understand the humor aspect but these commercials don't make a sale too a serious minded use for AI in my AI's opinion.

A chunk of the people in my department are using ChatGPT/some kind of AI. Which has improved their writing. But it results in four paragraph emails that should be two sentences, which is annoying.
