That's where I'm at with this. We gave him his shot when no one else did and then when he had offers to go elsewhere we offered to double his salary.
He could have built his own program here rather than run off to an already established program.

I agree. But seven years is a lot and I'm not sure that I'd do it (depending on the dollars, of course).

The man did what was best for himself and his family. Despite the criticism, I would expect almost everyone here to do the same. I hold no animus. Take the high ground and move on.
