I'm sure it will be like a job fair, with tables set up to discuss salary and benefits.
Not so much, although of course NIL is a part of things nowadays.
I'll give you a story.
I spoke at an event in Sumter recently.
I asked the crowd to raise their hands if they liked the transfer portal and NIL. No hands.
I asked the crowd to raise their hands if they liked watching Dylan Stewart and Kyle Kennard rush the passer.
All hands that were Gamecocks (some Clemson folks in the crowd) raised their hands.
I then said well, you don't get Kennard without the portal and NIL and you don't get Stewart and keep Stewart without NIL in 2024.
It's also not a situation where every prospect comes on campus and doesn't want to look at anything and says what are you going to pay me and that's it. It's still a case by case basis.
