Completely agree, and, to take the schedule discussion further, whoever is responsible for the Phillies not playing on July 4 and Labor Day should be banned from any more schedule making. IT'S A SUMMER SPORT!correct. We haven't really discussed this, but I'm really not a big fan of the new format, and playing every AL and every NL team. It really does reduce the number of division games, and that competition, especially in Sep., has lead to some great rivalries and some great contests into the final day of the season.
I guess I'll get used to the new format, and it will be nice to see some of the AL stars play at the CBP.
